IEEE Workshop on Authorship and Open Access | Mercatorum University | November 12, 2025

On Wednesday, November 12, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., the IEEE workshop “Publishing in Open Access, How to Publish in Open Access” will be held in person and online. The workshop is organized for Mercatorum University with the support of the University Library System. The workshop is open to faculty, researchers, research fellows, and doctoral students at the University.

The meeting will open with a brief presentation by the University’s Rector, Professor Giovanni Cannata, and will continue with a presentation by Professor Loconsole, Associate Professor of Information Processing Systems who will share his personal experience publishing with IEEE.

The keynote address, “Publishing Open Access Articles with IEEE,” will be given by Dr. Eszter Lukacs, IEEE Customer Service Manager. Topics covered during the workshop include:

- How to select the best journal for your article.

- Practical advice on the best publishing strategies.

- Procedures and benefits of publishing in Open Access with IEEE.
